upstream o2 senser

I was trying to replace my upstraem o2 senser. I geuss I messed up by not using an o2 socket, but its to late now. So its stripped to a perfect circle It wouldnt budge for nothing. I let the truck run for a while tried again nothing I even tryed using that PB blaster still nothing. I was thinking of using a torch but theres a lot of wires around it. what should I do? By the way I have a 97 xlt

If there is enough space, try using a SMALL pipe wrench, it looks just like a plumbers wrench(monkey wrench) only smaller. I have used these with great success, on a suspensoin bolt ,when vice grips failed miserably. They make them in all different sizes so you should be able to find the right one, but you may have to look in a well stocked tool section , i.e. sears. Good luck
