Larry when I first went with poly I bought them from Autozone and they sqeaked like hell, they fit in fine but I hated the noise, two months later I changed them out with Daystars and they dont sqeak any more.hope this helps,I am not saying the autozone ones are bad they were just annoying
The Energy Suspension poly bushings that you can get at Pep Boys are very good. I'm running front and rear sway bar bushings and front end links, they make a difference. I also have ES low profile bumpstops.
Yes, Brad, I'm just trying to do some homework on brands and so forth before I delve into it. I saw a set on Ebay for really cheap, but hadn't heard of the brand before, so that's why I was asking if there was a real diference in brands.
jonny 5, I don't think it is really going to be a big deal. Just unbolt and put the bushings in place and then bolt everything back up.
I would think that it would be a cheap and easy and noticable mod since my Ex has 120,000 on it. Looking to change the leafs out to multis possibly and to swap my front coils with some 2" lift springs.
Thanks Hartman for the info. Any additional info really helps out in making a decision.
I have replaced all of my bushings on my ex, it has 178,000 miles, and the difference was huge. Puts that new car feel back into it. I also have lift coils, and aal, and shackles. This set up really made the ex stout, I think you would like it. As far as bushings, check out Hank's site, great deal on the daystars. You can find them at flexplorers.com
