If IIRC the right hand one (rear of engine) is reverse thread ie clockwise to undo. The left side (front of engine) is normal thread ie anti clockwise to undo.

Just tried to double check this but having trouble with my cdrom so can't sorry.

Just checked with this write up and he confirms that rear one is LH thread

hope this helps

Thanks man.

Job done. Ive only this job once before a couple of years ago and had an idea that the rear one was opposite thread but didnt wanna takle a chance.(No manual).

Car back together and running as it should.

Thanks again

clarification of which way to turn camshaft bold on rear

we are doing the rear one, and need clarification. if we are looking at the engine from front of car then to go clockwise to undo would mean to turn it to the right, correct?

The one on the back of the engine has reverse threads, you will have to turn it clockwise to remove it.
