does anyone know if it is possible to tie in aftermarket heated seats to the OEM electronic heated seat buttons? I can activate the heated seat buttons through Forscan so that's not the issue. I want this discussion to be only about if the XLT trim has the wiring present and if we tap into the wiring will it work?

Also does anyone have a wiring diagram which shows which wire in the harness is for heated seats? If so can you please share. I plan to do a complete write up if I can get the relevant information

There is a Ford authorized kit you can buy, it was talked about on this forum a year or so ago. I would search for it because I believe it had part numbers in the thread.

Lear makes the Explorer seats maybe contact them.

Interesting. I just did a search on the forum and was unable to find the Ford authorized kit. If anyone has a wiring diagram for the XLT that would likely help a ton.
