V8 TB Data and Upgrade Q's

Alright, I have an '04 4.6L V8. I believe the throttle body is 68mm, but I'm not positive. Anyone know for certain?

Also, I've been thinking about upgrading the TB, obviously bigger=more air=better, but I've heard that too big could actually hurt performance? Right now I have no mods on my engine, but I'm looking to slowly change that as finances allow. Would it be a good idea to get a 75mm TB, or is that overkill/could it possibly hurt performance?

i don't know how this will work into your plans but its fly by wire in '04. Check the mustang forums they also have the 4.6L. and might have more options. maybe some speed guys will step in but if you go bigger you will probably need a custom tune too, so i don't think it will be a drop in mod.
guys rave about just doing a custom tune . . .
