I had a slight problem with my 96 Limited today. Well The wife did. She had took it to work in the snow. She ran it in 4 high(auto) and after she pulled off the main road on to the back road she put it in 4 low to get through some drifted snow. It would go anywhere, only the rear wheels would spin. She was able to get it off the road. We went out and tried to get it going no matter what the transfer case was in the front wheels would not roll. I found that the Vacuum line to the round canister ( that comes from the vacuum switchs) had come undone. After reattaching it no problems. was able to drive right out of the ditch.
Now for the Question. Would the vacuum line being disconnected cause the front end to lock up and not roll?
