03 Ford explorer Eddie ba
Hi all, I'm new to the forum, seems like a great place for advice.
Here's my issue, We have an 03 Explorer Eddie Bauer. Truck went into shop to have a couple of items done including new rocker gaskets.
After we got it back, every time we hit 40 mph all ac vents (live in Florida) seem to close. The air is still cold though just not coming out.
The shop gave me some bull crap story n wanted another $600 to fix.
A friend told me that maybe they put the vacuum lines on wrong.
Does this sound feasible, and if so how do I rectify ??
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

That's the blend door accurator. Just go to publix, they have relatively thick wooden sticks (to put meat on them) for $3.99. then you have to stick one of those in the a/c vent. You have to stick it in the leftern center one, put it on the rightern top of the vent amd your a/c will continue to work. Btw your mechanic shop didn't break that and i don't know if $600 would be to expensive but you can fix it with a $4 wooden stick.
