I have a 96 explorer xlt 4wd 4.0 L. My steering tightened up on me out of the blue one day. It gets really tight at about a 1/4 turn and does not return back to the original position while driving. In the morning it is as tight as can be. I checked the power steering fluid and it smells burnt. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
