I have a 2006 Explorer with the V8 and 6 speed automatic...I love it, BUT....at speed between 65 & 69 MPH, I can feel a vibration from / in the gas pedal...it gives me the sensation of the engine speed (RPM) being too low for the gear the truck is in. If I give it some gas & nudge it beyond 70 mph it is very smooth just as it is below 65 MPH.

Has anyone experienced this, or have any ideas for me?
I have had the truck into my dealer to check & they said they found nothing out of the ordinary.

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

How many miles do you have on it? Mine did that at first but stopped after about 1,000 miles. The throttle is drive by wire so there is no solid linkage to the engine which is why the vibration was so starnge to me...

I can not recall having this issue either early on or currently (25k miles).

Sorry

Vibration update

I just got back from visiting my dealer again....after a test drive, they acknowledged feeling the vibration (they did not on 1st visit) and said it is "drivetrain rumble" feeding back through the gas pedal. The truck goes in Monday to be solved...good thing as its getting worse.
:(
