Vibration noise on highway at idle

My 98 XLT has developed a strange vibration when driving on the highway. It happens around 50-60 mph and above. When I’m on the gas, no vibration or noise at all. As soon as I let off the accelerator a bit and idle at freeway speed, I get this rather loud vibration that I believe is coming from the front end. Any ideas?

I had a somewhat similar problem and it ended up being the front drive shaft CV joint where it comes out of the transfer case. I ended up replacing the whole diveshaft and have been vibration free.
