Volant or other Air kit owners?

Hmmm, I notice that sometimes under hard accelertion the Volant AirBox makes the usual howling noise but seems to vibrate the front windshield. It sounds strange but it does seem to happen. You can feel the sound pitch and the vibration on the glass.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? It seems bizar to me.

I've got the MAC intake and it howls on occasion, when the engine is cold. It's more of a whooshing sound, hearing the air enter the engine. Not loud at all and doesn't vibrate. My suggestion is to start the engine with the hood open and see if you can locate where the problem is. it might just be a loose connection.

My MAC makes some deep noises too. I would just guess that the plastic box the volant is in just magnifies the noise and causes it. Have someone drive the while you sit in the passanger seat and try and pinpoint the noise.

Thanks for the suggestions, the vibration is rattling the front windshield under heavy acceleration. I think I might have screwed the cowl pieces down to tight after I replaced the washer nozzle.
