2010 ford Eddie Baurer
I have a 2010 Eddie Baurer with a standard radio setup I
wish to upgrade to a nav system w/sync and all components
I want to stay as stock as possible. Can anyone advise on a
unit and where to find one. But not 1800 as quoted for a aftermarket
setup. That's out of my league. Thanks

Just did a quick ebay search for the oem radio with nav, only two ive seen so far are 950$ and up. Check your local junkyards maybe you can find something.

The 2009/10 Nav units are very expensive. When I got mine, they were regularly going on ebay for $1500 +/-. I was EXTREMELY lucky and got mine from a wrecking yard for $600 or so. The right radio for your truck has the Sirius Travel Link "I" icon on the lower right side buttons.

You also need the remote amp and harness. I got the amp with mine and the dash harness. I also had to have them send a cut out section of the RHS body harness, to get everything i needed. I have found you can get a slightly different amp and a retrofit harness from United Radio for ~$200.

Finally, you need the matching steering wheel switch pack from the truck you get the radio, as the right side switches are slightly different.

Don't be suprised to have close to $2000 for the stock system retrofit.

There is a module that plugs into Kenwoods 2012 nav units and keeps all of the snyc function and existing steering wheel controls.. The mod is called the iDatalink maestro and is expected to sell for about $150.. The kenwood units are $950 and up..

oh yea, factory sat radio will also work..

The idatalink is expected to be available in mid march 2012
