Just wondering what all mods can be done without voiding the warranty. I still have a year and a half on my warranty and don't want to void it yet. I want to put about 2-3" lift on it and maybe the Powertrax and a performance chip one day. I assume the lift would void the warranty or at least some part of it? Any input appreciated.

your warranty cannot be void unless ford can prove that your modification caused the broken part......lets say i take my 20000 # big rig trailer and find a way to attach it to my bumper and my frame gets tweaked the tires blow.....then i got to the dealer and say my radio display doesnt work...he must fix the radio unles he can prove my big rig trailer broke the radio somehow.....

Read the information on the Federal Trade Commisions web site regarding the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act (Dead Link Removed). Basically it says no one can void your warranty unless the manufacturer can prove that the non-factory part caused the failure.

Thanks guys.. I'll check out that website too.
