warrenty Question reman tranny

i bought a 03 limited v8 explorer , 4 months ago , it developed a trans problem , brought it to ford they diagnosed it , and they said the transsmission thats in my truck is a remanufactured tranny with a 100k warrenty well the truck has 111k on it so im assuming theres a warrenty on the tranny, ford said they didnt know how to find out who and when did the work, so how can i use the warrenty on the transsmission ?

unless it was done in warranty you are sol with out a receipt.
