Washer fluid won't stop spraying

So yesterday I sprayed some washer fluid and uh. Now it won't stop spraying unless I hit the r. Wiper button and spray it there. Or kill the car. 1998 Ford Explorer. 4.0 SOHC. Any idears?

the switch or relay is sticking. my guess is it's the relay. the relays for the washers are located under the hood on the passenger side, just below the air filter box. they live inside a small, black plastic distribution box.
