I have a 1996 ford explorer with a 4.0 manual trans sport model and I have a leak on the firewall coming from a tube below the heater hoses.
It looks like some kind of weep hole.
Is this a heater core problem?:salute:

a/c condensation

If it's antifreeze dripping out of there, that's a sign of a failed heater core. Can you smell antifreeze coming out of the vents? Does your windshield fog up with an oily substance? Those would confirm the heater core diagnosis.

Yes on the smell and the fog. I bypassed the core for now but will change it out before winter hits. Thank you for the info:salute:
