water in .... and out just as fast

It's not leaking from the radiator, but on the other side of the fan in the middle. What do i need to replace? I don't like going into mechanical shops without sounding like i know what i am talking about..

Water pump or freeze plug probably. What engine?

I guess from your description it sounds like the water pump. Is it coming out of the little weep hole near where the fan attaches?
