2004 Explorer
Just bought a 2004 Explorer through Craigslist. Of course it seemed to be okay when I drove it, but I have since found a couple problems.

The passenger floorboard is saturated with water. The driver's side is also wet but less so. The rubber weather seal around the doors is in perfect shape and the AC drains fine so I suspect the drain from the windshield wiper panel. If that's it can anyone tell me where to locate the drain line down below so I can unclog it? Or, if there might be another cause, does anyone have experience with the wet floor problem?

Thanks.

Sounds more like a heater core issue. I would lift everything up and find the source to avoid the mildew build up.

X2, that is what I was thinking also. Check your coolant level, & see if the the water is slimey, if so it is coolant.

Have a sun roof? If so, check the drain tubes. See "Location of Rooftop Water Drain Holes?" in Similar Threads below.
