We are all different, yet alike….

The title seems a contradiction; yet, when we take a hard look at “us” the differences are so apparent. It takes a little harder looking to see that we are all indeed alike.

There those like off road; even further broken down into different realms ( rocks, mud, trails, etc. ). There are those who want horsepower to the max. There are those who want lift, and those who lower. There are those who want defining sound systems as well as those who don’t. There are those who want to turn the night into day. There are those who want neon. There are those who want 30 MPG. There are those who want a killer shine. Some even like it stock. There are those who spend momma and daddy’s money and there are those who work 2 and 3 jobs to pay for their toys.

A ton of differences without a doubt. Yet we are all alike in our love for the automobile, the Explorer in particular.

Try to respect others mods even if you are not turned on by them.

Where do YOU fit in the equation?

There have been many times that I've looked at a pic and thought "wow... that's really f***ing ugly" but obviously, if the pic is posted, the owner must be proud.

I really don't see the point of lowering a 4x4 but I still respect all the work that's put into doing so.

I agree, aldive is right on the money. "Different strokes for different folks" I think that's how it goes anyways.

I know what you mean. My mistake was I posted... and pissed off a whole bunch of members. I later realized I was posting in the "Lifted X" group. I didn't care much about their look, and I was honest about it. I should've known better to shut my mouth.

Anyway, I wised up. I got nothing but love now.

Ya know it really boils down to this. We all like/ love our Explorers. A tech tip is the same no matter what you do. Problems occour both on road and off road. We all work together to remedy the problems and keep every body on this board rolling right along.
