wearing a bald spot on one tire.

I have posted a few times before about my front differential roar and the possibility that my front diff. is going bad.But today I have discovered something interesting.My last set of tires all wore fairly even accept for the left front.It wore a bald spot in it about six inches long that caused a pretty bad "ker plunk" feel.I chalked it up to a bad tire that had a knot and the knot wore down causing this flat bald spot.But now,I am experiencing the same thing with my new tires.Could the CV shaft be bent causing this abnormal wear spot?

if the cv axle was bent it would just cause a shake at speed, a rim sounds more like it,
