Hello all! I am new to the forum and of course allready have a problem to post. My CEL is on (havent got to pull codes yet) But heres what my XLT does. Every time its started whether warm or cold, the idle instantly goes up to around 2200/2500 rpms and stays there. Put it in gear, (of course it jumps hard into gear) drive it for a min, put it back in park, and it idles fine. Shut it off and restart it and the same thing happens....its only doing this high idle when started. So i have pretty much ruled out a vac leak, cause I figure it would be continuous if it was. Any help on this or ideas? Thanks in advance! Oh yea, just bought it yesterday. Its a 5.0l 98 XLT
