I have a weird issue that started about two weeks ago.
I wake up in the morning and get to my car and start it, battery is good, starter is working fine, there is plenty of fuel and there are no error code on my OBD, but the car won't start!, I opened the hood and started visually inspecting if there is anything unusual but there isn't any.
Then I noticed a humming noise coming from the pcm, I removed the top electrical plug and put it again and tried starting the car but nothing happened, then I removed the second plug (the one in the middle) and put it back, the humming sound stopped, so I started the car and it ran perfectly from the first try.
This issue doesn't happen during the day, it only happens first thing in the morning, I checked the plug for issues and cleaned it but the same problem persists, everyday I have to remove the plug and put it back, after that the car runs fine all day long.
I asked the mechanic and his response was "change the pcm" without even trying to offer an explanation why it is happening.
I wonder if someone knows any info that would help me.
Thanks.
