whats up with this? when the explorer sits all night or all day and i first start it the oil pressure needle stays on the bottom, i freaked the first time it happened, but the weird thing is that if you turn a corner or drive for a few miles first thing it goes to normal then back to the bottom then back to normal where it stays, there is not a pressure problem it's the gauge, why does it do this? is the needle sticking?

thanks!

sounds like a bad connection somwhere, try finding the sender at your engine first and cleaning it up/making it tighter.

Also, I`m pretty sure you have the dummy oil pressure guage, which either shows pressure, or no pressure. That backs up the theory that it is a loose connection because if your pressure was dropping off, by golly, you`d know it!
