2001 EXPLORER SPORT TRAC
Good evening all.
I need some help ASAP or advise I have a 2001 Ford Sport Trac and it has an after market alarm system which went on and off on its own and it also has a ford OEM system we disconnected the after market one and now all seems fine.

But I just noticed that the power door lock controls stay lighted after closing the doors with the ford controls I just checked and the lights for the door are still on over an hour is there a fuse I can pull ? So I do not kill the battery and that is what happened today the car would not start this afternoon but did this morning we brought it in to a local service station charging system ok and so is the battery I thought the after market alarm system was killing the battery since it kept going on all day and the battery terminals were a little lose any ideas and thanks in advance.

I meant to see if mine were on before I hit the unlock button when I went out early this morning. I thought about it about the time I hit the button. Maybe I'll remember tomorrow morning...........:(

Okay, so I guess they're on the timed circuit, same as the dome lights. I have my radar detector powered from the dome lights so it will turn off at night and comes on when I hit the unlock on my remote.

I do not know for sure i think we have a ghost in the sport trac

LOL ! Get rid of that add-on alarm ASAP !!

Drs are working on it trust me
