I've decided to upgrade and I'm primarily looking at 06's.

I looked at a rig yesterday and the tires were worn funny. The passenger side of the rig showed significantly more wear than the drivers side. Even the seller commented on it. The rear passenger tire was almost bald. Drivers side looked normal for a second set of tires at 80K. It was a 4.0L, 4wd, XLT...nothing super fancy.

Anyone have a theory as to why the tires are wearing this way?

sounds like someone was doing 1 wheel wonders ;)

i would not buy that truck.

Yeah I passed on that one. My Mech guessed it had been wrecked and the frame was tweaked.

I ended up finding an 05 XLS with 53K miles today. Price was right and it looked brand new. The 06's were a tad more than I wanted to spend and the ones I had looked at had too many miles and were not in that great of shape.

I wouldn't worry about miles so much. How the vehicle has been maintained is much more important.
