weird vibration

I am experiencing an annoying vibration at about 2000 Rpm's. I just had my trans rebuilt 5 days ago. Could the u joints be the problem? How do you know when they go bad?

welcome to the site... it very well could be the u joint not being reinstalled properly. if they put the tranny back in id take it back to them and tell them it vibrates since they did it.
