Basically, what else (other than engine and transmission) is run of the ECU?
I want to use a '96-97 Explorer 5.0 harness and computer to add fuel injection to my '69 Mustang (will switch whole motor, and 4R70W minus T-case)
I want to keep the factory ECU if I can, so I can have a CEL and a OBD-II port. But I'd have to have a chip made that ignores the cats, and whatever else is run by it (Control-Trac? ABS? Airbags?)
