Just as the title says, what does everyone have planned for their ST for this year? Ive been bit by the mod bug again and wanted to see what new ideas anyone's got for their truck.

This year for me is: another 2" lift in the front, finally 33's after being lifted for 4 years, 1.5" spacers, rancho rs5000's, RCI skid plate, SCT tune, redo cladding in bedliner, and some interior cosmetic stuff

Change oil, wash, detail interior, start back to tearing down D60/70, find a V8 :). Hopefully taking it off daily driver status. Maybe a steel front bumper if funds allow.

I'll at least get the first three completed.

Hopefully I can get better/ healed enough by late spring/ summer to be able to finish my SAS than move onto rebuilding/ freshening up the 351w, C6 and 1356 manual t-case so I can install them into the ST this year. Fingers crossed.

Maybe wishful thinking but some bigger things on the long list

Body mount bushings, shocks, tires, repair rocker panel, projector retrofit and do work on the truck cap (repaint exterior maybe paint interior, led dome strip, maybe custom 3rd brake light, roof rack/basket)

To get my 2002 Sport Trac running right and tight.

Body lift and body mount bushings.
35" tires
New front bumper
Build tire carrier in the bed
Build some rock sliders
Build new lower profile rear bumper.

I'd like a new front bumper too. Someone hit mine while I was parked and is cracked on the side under the turn signal where it bolts up to the fender. I see it as an excuse to get a custom one. Although I wish it was a lot easier to get aftermarket bumpers for our trucks

Muffler - Had a dynomax super turbo installed today so I guess that's checked off the list
Rocker sliders
Winch bumper
Winch
Raise the hitch or build a rear bumper with tire carrier
Oil change
Diff fluid change
On-board/portable air compressor
Rotate tires
In general keep it clean

Plans for my red V8 ST are to get it running top notch, still has a miss. Get my door wiring fixed, having issues there. Get roof rack on with lights. Get my front/rear winch mounts wired up.

Plans for my Sons white ST are TT and AAL, 265/70/17 Good Year wrangler duratrac tires on some 17x8 Mustang Cobra rims I have laying around. Single in/dual out muffler with the stainless stock ST tips on both sides.

I want to get both on the trail, been a couple of years since I have been wheelin. I want to keep them both maintained, looking good and running good.

Main Goal: Keep her running

I'd also like to swap out my warrior 153 shackles for the stockers now that she's SOA and starting to sag a little in the rear. I for one hate the Carolina squat so that will have to go. Depending on funds I will get the Aussie lockers installed front and rear.

Sadly I've also been bit by the diesel bug so funds are split between my 2 Fords and the tow pig has had a few upgrades recently (For those that want to see em check out my tow pig registry in my signature) so I guess it's back to the Trac.

First is figure out/fix the clunk coming from my front end. UCA's/lower ball joints have been replaced, as well as shocks (twice) and sway bar endlinks/bushings. Not sure where to turn next. New catback due to bending my tailpipe almost into the tire. Once I get the suspension noises figured out, it will be a 3" BL, new bushings, and tires/rims.

Spring is in full force (in south Georgia anyway:p:).

Anybody made any progress?

I'm one for seven so far.

I'll be revisiting one of the other goals in the next couple weeks. By the end of April, I promise to be at least 50% completed on my list.

I've done 3 of the things I planned on so far, but everything else will be after/when tires are put on so hopefully in the summer. Can't decide if I want to do a roof basket with a 33" spare on top or if I want to save my gas mileage and money and not bother with it

You can fit a 33 in the stock location. It hangs down a little but it fits.

I only put my spare in the basket during hunting season when I travel to the farm and need the bed for harvests. Right now, the spare is in the barn as I won't be traveling far from home. When I go any distance, like trail riding, it goes in the bed. I use the bed a lot during spring /summer.

Long story short, only put the spare up top if you need to. It's really a pain and drain on gas otherwise.

I do like having the basket for other uses though. Only found the "need" during hunting season though.

I like the look too.

Probably won't end up doing it, but I already don't like how the stock size spare hangs down with a body lift. It's not even that bad but would like the look of something else. And I use the bed pretty often to haul around motorcycles and other stuff otherwise I'd do one of those angled style bed mounts.

I can't even get the spare off right now anyway. I think I skipped a step back when I did the body lift where you drill a hole in the bumper under the tailgate to access the spare lowering deal. One day I'll get to it

I didn't drill a hole. Just slid the handle between the bumper and the plastic that hangs down (whatever that's called) when I had 32s. Obviously haven't used the stock spare hanger since going to 35s.

You can either lift up the plastic filler piece behind the tailgate or totally remove it like I did when I did my BL. Can't even tell it's not there.

I might be listing my swing out tire carrier and or steel rear bumper if you're interested. I won't be using it with my 37's. The cost of shipping might kill the deal though.

I did the 265/70/17's on the white ST, they were used and very choppy and noisy. Found a decent set of 285/70/17's and have been running those for a couple of months. Now I ended up with a set of 5 04 F150 FX4 18 inch wheels with 285/65/18 Yokohama Geolander AT/S tires. They are all in like new shape. They are going on this week if I find time. I bought adapters to got 5 to 6 lug. Also I did get my exhaust done and am very happy with it.

Not much progress on the V8 ST, still not running top notch and the door wiring issues are getting on my nerves. Trying to find someone that can work on that with out paying to much.

Body lift - kit is sitting the garage, just need a good weekend to do it.
For wheels & tires, want to go with 15" x 8" steel wheels (probably the soft 8's), and some beefy 33" x 12.5" tires.
Make a heavy duty set of front swar bar end links. I seem to have a knack for destroying them. I saw on the forum that Moog K7275 hardware and ES 9.8103G bushings are a good combo.
Also kind of toying with the idea of making a carputer. A while ago I spliced an auxiliary jack into the head unit's CD speaker output. That way, if a cd is in and playing, an mp3 player can hijack the feed and be played out to the speakers. And, now the cd player is dying. Could probably take it all apart and re-solder it somewhere that doesn't rely on the cd player, but the idea of having a hard-drive with the music inside there is tempting. Getting OBD II integrated somehow is too. Still at the researching phase though.
