2010 Explorer Eddie Bauer
Hello All

I have a 2010 Explorer Eddie Bauer, 4.0L, 96,000 miles. My cruise control recently stopped working. When cruise ON button is depressed, nothing happens, and no message on dash stating Cruise On. I recently had the trans rebuilt, but as far as I know, the trans has nothing to do with the cruise control circuit. In addition to the rebuild, the valve body and pump were also replaced.
The CC hasn't worked since I got the trans repaired.
All fuses are good.
My AC is no longer cold, but the Explorer sat in repairs for 3 months, so it may have leaked down.
I also had to reset the pin in the shifter mechanism that releases the shift lever.

I'll be extremely grateful for any help.

Thanks in advance.

When you press the ON button for cruse control there is no light that will come on until you press the SET button at your desired speed. also under 25 mph CC will not work

Thanks! A couple of hours after I posted this, I discovered what you stated. The truck was out of my hands so long I forgot how to use the CC. I only owned it 2 months before I had to repair the trans. My medications have ruined my memory.

I am glad you figured it out.
