What exactly does a CD/MP3 Player mean?

Does it mean it is compatible with my iPod? Can I load MP3s onto the CD player like a hard drive? Im kinda confused, and don't really know what it means.

Yeah, the "AAC/WMA/MP3/CD Receiver" means it plays those things on a CD.. and the "External Media Control — iPod Ready" means..uhhh.. it's iPod ready.

Right on. This Deck is a 50Wx4 Channel.....Will that be adequate in amping my speakers? (I was thinking about running speaker wire off my amp to the speakers, but this CD Player may be fine for that, right?)

Also, all I do to connect the amp to the CD player is run Monster Cable from the Amp to the back of the CD Reciever, right?
