Hi everyone I have been looking at the explorer 1gen. But want to know what kind of front suspension it is? it's not a solid axle right ? and also a traditional IFS isn't. So what kind it is? I saw one flexing and it flex like a Solid Axle.. Anyone can help me with a picture also ?

Thank you

Welcome to the forum! Do a search of the site, this is covered in depth (including pictures). I believe the axle is Dana 35.

I did try a search. with no luck, Or which kewywords would bring what i need any suggestion? I need this info for a school project.

It is an IFS suspension.

It's called TTB (twin traction beam). It flexes better than the 2nd gen Explorer IFS SLA type (short/long arm), but having a solid axle definitely will yield more flex.
