I run Edelbrock IAS on my V8 AWD. A little pricey but worth every penny. Handles great. I may try the Rancho 9000 next to see how well those work. I hear good things about them from the board.

Edelbrock IAS. Nice smoooooooth ride; but excellent on hard cornering and hard launches.

The Edelbroc IAC shock is fantastic for street, but probabally not going to be what you want for off road

i have the ranchos 5000 they are great. and when they wear out you get free replacements

i run ranch rs5000's. If you want to maximize your rear travel, a longer shock with a cutom upper mount (drill and thread the mount in) use a rs5112.

ARB/OME
Really nice on the pavement. Extra travel for off road. Nasty yellow color.

Yup use the same thing ^^^ ARB/OME I don't think the smoothest ride on pavement, more of a truck ride but I like that, I personally think these shocks are amazing worth every penny I paid not to mention they are great offroad.

Is that true with all rancho shocks???

i belive so

i bought it with Carquest shocks up front, and the rear ones were pretty rusty so i couldn't tell, i've replaced the rear ones with Gabriel Sport Truck shocks and they seem to get the job done

My XL is running new (few months) Monroe Gas Matic LTs. It sucks. Too much roll when cornering and rid eisn't all that great.

My Limited has Gas a Just. Bought it that way. Best riding SUV I've ever been in or driven.

I've got the Bilstein HD replacment shocks. Much better than the originals with 130k on em. The ride well and handle the bumps without sending me airborne anymore. I have nothing else to compare these to though.

thanks guys i was looking at a monroe reflex? anyone hear good about them?

i have monroe refler or sensetrax....not sure which....but they ride pretty nice...maybe i will crawl under my truck tomorrow and find out for sure....

well now..my post was pretty worthless.....oh well :D

i am looking at the 9000x but they are $85 each!!!! any place to get them a little cheaper?

I have monroe reflex shocks. I get quite a bit of body roll on the highway when cornering but they ride great. Not too sure off road as I don't go off road too often. Other than the body roll, I like them.

I run stock Gabriels on mine, ride great on and off road.. Only paid around $250 cdn for all 4...
