What should I treat my weather stripping with?

In reading what is involved in a 30K tuneup the "Ford Quality Care" says they lubricate the weather stripping. What chemical should I use for this? I don't want to use Armorall (it damages rubber) and was thinking of using silicone spray but in searching people said it will get all over my paint when it rains.

Any ideas?

Apparently it contains a chemical in it that does not allow the rubber to retain it's pourous / breathable quality and will crack it.

I use good ole fashion di-electric silicone grease. A big tube costs $3.00 at NAPA and will last you a long time.

I have always just used petrolem jelly (vaseline) on the seals when I had a Mustang convertable. Seemed to work great in keeping seals "sealing" and keeping water out. I have never heard of Klasse products.

Use silicone lube. It does NOT leach onto your paint when it rains. You spray it on, rub it in with a cloth, and it's gone. You would really have to overdo it to get it to drip off when it rains.

Dittos on Armor-All. It's not for seals.

Doesn't vasoline eat rubber, or atleast dry it out? I always thought vasoline and rubber was a no no
