Was just wondering what's the best plug to run in my 13 explorer I keep seeing iridium or platinum. Can I run motorcraft iridium? This is my 1st twin turbo car thanks

As mentioned in my reply to your question in the other thread, if the originals got you to 182k miles without any problems, why not stick with the OEM plugs?
See page 409 in your Owner's Manual. It specifys an SP-528 which is shown as a double Platinum on the Rock Auto site. More Information for MOTORCRAFT SP528

That's interesting - the 2013 Explorer manual definitely does say SP528 plugs for the 3.5L GTDI. My 2014 Explorer manual says SP534 for that same engine.

Alternate/OEM Part Number(s): CYFS12Y3, SP534
