2004 Explorer, you can see my other threads about hte timing gear job.
That seems to be a success. I drove hte car to work today. All seems good.
My wife got this car at 115K. It was well cared for but there were no records.
All we ever did was change the oil, and not often enough. Blew the first engine at 145K. Rpleacement engine had 97K when we put it in. It blew the timing chain guides 40,000 miles later (car at 185K)
So now it's mine and I want it to last as long as possible.
What should i be looking at? Differentials, Transmission, transfer case ?
WHat else?
