I have a 2000xlt also, I have replace the gasket and filter with parts purchased from Advanced Auto Parts. I am not sure of the tranny (I believe it's the 5r55e <- maybe wrong) I have always gotten the correct gasket and filter so I have never put any thought into what the exact model is. They got me the gasket and filter by using the vin number.
