whats better? copper or aluminum?

im replacing the collector gaskets on the girls CJ with a 350 and Hedmans. the paper gaskets just burn up or blow out, so im wondering wether aluminum or copper collector gaskets are better? TIA

Six one way- half a dozen the other.

In Arkansas speak, that means it doesnt matter both work just as good. Both are about a million times better than the paper crap that comes with them. Torque them down right and copper/alum. collector gaskets will never leak again. If they do start to leak, you can re-torque them without replacing them because they wont burn through.
