hi my names matt i own a 92 ford explorer 4 dr 4 wheel drive 5 speed with 31 bfgs i am from alberta canada is there any one else here from alberta

and i have have a Q when i put my truck in 4 wheel drive my front end clicks and the front tires do not get any power i was told it is a auto hubs can any one help me out
 






Actually I think there a few hoser's around here.

And yes you probably have blown hubs - try doing a search on auto hub* replac*

Welcome to the forum Matt. I am not from Canada (have never had the pleasure of visiting either), but I also have a '92 XLT 5 speed.

Lots of us put a BL on. Your hubs are probably shot, sounds like what mine did. Welcome to the site. Use the search feature it will keep you busy for days.
 






sounds like its time to upgrade to manual hubs, you will have to get out and engage them, but they work a lot more surefire then the autohubs, which will most likely blow again down the road..... i have done this conversion on my explorer.

i havent dont a bodylift on my explorer but have done one on my toyota pickup truck. it allows room for larger tires and keeps the base weight of the vehicles center of gravity at the same as stock height
