My name is Mike and this is my ride. It's a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. I've had it for a little under a year and its completely stock at the moment, other than an aftermarket head unit and Philips Xtreme power headlight bulbs. I've been into car audio for a few years. The head unit is an Alpine 9813. I plan to put a Mach 5 MJ-18 in the back with an Alpine MRP-1000, in a ported box. I'm trying to keep a stock look, with maybe some rims later on.
I got it from an older gentleman who sold it to me for $3500, with only 77,000 miles and had every oil change, maintenance work, etc all written down in the owner's manual and has never had any serious problems in it's entire history, other than a flat tire... I still have the original tires on it lol. May be a good time to upgrade the wheels!
The sub will hide under the cargo net.
77k miles when I first got it.
I was considering putting an overhead console in, and a bench seat in the front, possibly from a different model of Ford, or something that should fit with some minor mounting bracket changes. The 60/40 seats are pretty ideal for me.
