at what mileage do you change your spark plugs? and possibly wires.. ive noticed my car will just cut out sometimes for no reason, it does it wheni take a hard turn or something and it just dosent seem right.. but i think it just needs a tune-up

when do u get one? 60,000 or 50k miles?

Every 60k miles unless you need them sooner.

I just changed mine today for the first time at 79K miles, kept them in there way too long, the gaps were quite large and there was a lot of white buildup on the plugs. 60K miles is probably the best time to change.

I better start shopping... I got 58,920 miles on mine. I do have some second thoughts on changing them just yet. I still am having great gas mileage (16-18 mpg) :knock on wood: , no hesitation, still has great pick up on starting and on the highway... maybe I'll wait until 70K...

I changed out I guess my factory plugs at 83K miles. The single platinum side was a mess, gaps were at .070  The double plats were still in pretty good shape though, but the gaps were out of spec. (Remember, Ford used half Platinum and half Double Platinum in the 97's to save cash  )

All and all, I'd change them around 60K for best performance and gas mileage.
