I asked yesterday about the IAC valve on my truck, well, I saw pictures and read up about cleaning it myself and when I went out to do it today, I cannot even find the darn thing (just a little clueless) It seemed easy enough in the pictures. Where do I find it in a 2000 Explorer 4.0 SOHC???

Re: Where is IAC

Hey, I just pulled mine and cleaned it this afternoon. It should be attacvhed to the the side of intake with two 10mm bolts and an electrical connection plug.

Opal, you have to remove the black SOHC cover on top of your engine to see it.

Thanks everyone!! :)
