Where is the @#** engine number???????

Hi all,

Trying to locate the engine number on 2002 V8 Explorer. This would be the same number located on the registration papers.

A pic would be great, otherwise any help will do.

AFAIK, Ford has not stamped the last 8 of the VIN on an engine block since the 1960's.....where it was always stamped on a machined boss on the side of the block. Check these places on the block.
