My friend gave me a 10" bazooka to tide me over since i blew out my last one. Until i get my full system after christmas, I have this thing. Any clues on where I should put it, or how to get the best sound out of it? I have it tied to the tie down hooks in the back of the explorer with the sub about 1 foot from the rear hatch. Are there any better places to stick this sucker?

i have seen a few with the back pressed up against the rear seat faced towards the rear that seems to be the most popular they normaly have it on the drivers side of the car why i couldnt tell u

u could aslo put it behing the rear seat lenghtwise so the back faced the left side of the truck and the front faced the right...get that? sry i cant explain it any better

theres a thread on here somewhere that had findings of what sounded better in a taho either facing the sub towards the front of back and i belive dont quote me but i think facing the back won...im not sure

good luck and marry x-mas (o yah dont blow this one up =) i thought i blew mine up the other day wassent fun)

I believe Bazooka used to recommend firing them into the corner (at a 45* angle), with the face something like 8" or so away.

haha, no, you aren't wrong, because i have it facing backwards and it sounds better anyway. It's really not feasible for me to have it firing at an angle since i have a bunch of recovery equipment, snowboards, water jugs, and pillows and blankets back there as well. I like the bazooka because it is such a compact little system thingy, but it just dosen't do anything near what my 10's did. oh well. *waits for christmas*

well see thats where u gota ballane...recovery stuff and snow board..or boom boom

least u didnt have to decide between a back seat or boom boom =) it was an easy choice though tee hehe

I have a feeling "Boom Boom" is gonna win out. However, the one thing that will always stay are the pillows and blankets. Spent many a night in the explorer. It's my mobile house

i dunno i think a pillow and blanket is a necesity if u have a back seat =)..but my reasons may be different then urs =)

haha, with a backseat you have a twin bed......when i fold down my seats, Presto! King size bed with surround sound :D

haha lol thats great =) ever seen private parts? use the bass like taht if u havent im not gunna explain it lol

ahahahahaha *gasp* ahahahaha
