I am getting an Eclipse Navigation for my GF for xmas and getting it installed next week. I am trying to figure out where to route the ipod cable? I have seen it go to the glove box as this is ideal as you would not need to cut anything up but she uses her iphone as the ipod and phone and would be a pain for her to lean over and open that up each time she gets in and out of the car.

If It goes into the center console will I have to cut a hole for the cable? Also am thinking the tray in the center piece below the a/c controls but I think that too involves cutting? I would like to not have to cut into anything. Where have any of you had this cable come out from and did you have to modify anything to do such?

in my xls, in the big rectangle tray infront of the cup holders, under the ac controlls, their is a factory cut hole in their. I don`t know what it would be for, but that`s where i ran all my sat radio cables, and it worked like a charm. in mine their is a blac rubber mat covering it, i don`t know about your eddie bower, but you should be able to find some way if you take the screws out for your center console and wiggle it around a bit, a gap should appear and you can run it behind your radio/heater conroll panel.

That would be perfect. Will check it out this weekend. I am getting everything installed the following weekend so have time to figure it out.

Thanks
