What's up everybody. I'm installing a mono amp and need to know where to run the RCA and remote wires from the back of the stereo, as in I cant find anywhere to put the wires through in orders to run them under the paneling of the truck. I tried pushing the wires through the same "hole" that the stereo wiring harness runs through but I don't know where the wires come out at. Any suggestions?

I recently installed an aftermarket head unit as well as sub and amp in my 03. What i had to do with the RCA's and remote is tape them to some very heavy gauge solder about 1 foot long and shined a light from the floor board up to the radio location looking for enough space to route. Found a gap just below the HVAC air duct, snaked the solder through enough to grab and pull the wires, then ran the wires beside the duct up to the radio. I reused the solder method to route wires to the sub/amp as well. The hardest part for me was getting the fused 12v wires through the firewall, i found a cap just to the right of the brake booster that worked just fine and looks very clean.

Good to know, I agree it's always a challenge getting through the firewall.
