Which transmission do I have??

How can I tell if I have the 5-speed or 6-speed automatic transmission.
It's a 2008 Explorer XLT, 4.0, 4X4 & AWD, and there is no dipstick.

2002-2005 (3rd gen) models had the 5-speed regardless of engine, with choice of 2 axle ratios (3.55 or 3.73), depending on towing package.
2006-2010 (4th gen) with V6 got essentially carryover engine, 5-speed, and axle choices.
2006-2010 (4th gen) with V8 got the new 6-speed and 3.55 gearing (regardless of towing package).
