Which V6 Explorers Lack Internal Water Pump?

Starting to look for an Explorer more seriously. Just read that the water pump is buried within certain engines, and prone to failure. Which V6 models/engines lack the internal water pump?

All of this era (5th gen) with a V6 have a transverse mounted (FWD biased) engine with an internal water pump.

If you want to avoid that, your only option '11-'19 is the 4 cylinder Ecoboost, or get something pre-'11 or post-'19.
