white bushing on the hydralic line for clutch

Do you need to keep this thing on there? I'm trying to get my quick disconnect tool on there and i'm having a hard time, so i was thinking about just ripping the bushing thing off. Thanks!

Come on, i know someone has to know, i'm hoping to finish this up tomorrow so any help would be appricitated!!

The white bushing is what will actually release the internal clips that hold the line in. The tool you have is just to push the white bushing into the slave cylinders line so it will release the line.
 






I was kind of thinking that but wasn't sure and couldn't remember from last time, thanks for replying!
