Who Has A '97- +/- '03 Ford CD Repair Manual?

Does anyone have a Ford Manual for '97+ trucks that could send me a pic?

I had a portion of the shift mechanism break in my '97 F150 yesterday, and would like to get my hands on a pic of the breakdown of the shift mechanism as it goes through the column. As the truck stands, I can't shift it out of Park without doing it manually at the tranny. Time is going to be VERY limited this week, and I would really like to walk into the dealer, show them a pic, and say "I need this thing." I can see what part it is that is broken, just have no idea what it would be called.



side note: Weird how automobiles break in certain "areas." This truck has had, relatively, few problems for years, but in the past year, I have had to replace the actual shifter cable, the shifter lever itself, and now the piece that the shifter lever mounts to breaks in half. Just kinda weird.

sorry for the quick bump, but I gotta get this truck back on the road (I got a pile of trash sitting in the front yard waiting to go to the dump), and this info would help me a lot.

Someone has to have a manual for these years!!!

I stopped by Richmond Ford today and got the (suppossed) parts I needed, but after digging a little deeper for a little while after work today, the shifter tube that they gave me is not the correct one. So, I need to finish removing the old one to match it up to a new one.

I would REALLY like to hear how a manual describes how to remove this shifter tube!!!!! I have removed the entire front dash, and the instrument cluster, and at least two of the mounting screws for this tube are still inaccessible ................although close. From my trusted Ford parts guy, this tube (for this year) is a common part that breaks, up until Ford noticed the problem and upgraded.
