I am attempting to remove the headlight housing on my 93 sport. I have removed the grill from the front of the vehicle and the plastic panel on top of the radiator. The next thing the Haynes Manual tells me to do is remove the screws from the turn/park light assy. I removed the two screws, then it says pull the assemblt straight out! That does not work it move myabe a half of an inch and will move no more, the back piece that goes around the lights is already broke in one place and I am not trying to break it anymore. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

There are clips on the bottom of the headlight housing that hold the plastic headlight bezel on. Pull the bulbs out of the lights, and if you have removed the screws on top, you should be able to pull the bezel (the corner and turn signal are attached to the bezel) straight out like the book says.

Ok I guess they didn't feel they needed to mention the clip on the bottom of the housing. Thanks

I found if you turn the housing to the right for the drivers & to the left for the passanger sides, while pulling out. It comes out easier.
